Narkiss Text
An official release of the first and formative text typeface designed by Zvi Narkiss in 1963. The new version includes optical sizes, which—for the first time in Hebrew—allow users to choose between different historical renderings of the letters. In smaller sizes (in Hot Metal Typesetting), the letters were adapted for paragraphs and spaced openly, while later, in larger sizes (in Photo Typesetting), they featured higher contrast and tighter spacing, as was customary for headlines. The family includes regular and bold weights, each offered in three optical sizes tailored for 8 pt, 12 pt, and 18 pt.

Nature is an inherent character or constitution, particularly of the ecosphere or the universe as a whole. In this general sense nature refers to the laws, elements and phenomena of the physical world, including life. Although humans are part of nature, human activity or humans as a whole are often described as at times at odds, or outright separate and even superior to nature. During the advent of modern scientific method in the last several centuries, nature became the passive reality, organized and moved by divine laws. With the Industrial Revolution, nature increasingly became seen as the part of reality deprived from intentional intervention: it was hence considered as sacred by some traditions (Rousseau, American transcendentalism) or a mere decorum for divine providence or human history (Hegel, Marx).
באקולוגיה, טבע הוא מושג המייצג את כל מה שקיים, ולא נוצר או שונה על ידי האדם. הטבע כולל למשל את הנופים הקיימים, המראות השונים של חילופי עונות, ההרים והנהרות, היצורים החיים, האטמוספירה ועוד. השאיפה להבין לעומק את הסביבה הטבעית היא שעומדת בבסיס הסביבתנוּת – תנועה חברתית, פוליטית ופילוסופית רחבה ומגוונת שמטרתה להגן על מרכיב הטבע שנותר בסביבה הטבעית, ובמקרים רבים אף לשקם או להרחיב את חלקו של הטבע בסביבה זו. הגנת הסביבה, בהקשר זה, היא הניסיון לשמר מצב של השפעה אנושית מינימלית על הסביבה הטבעית. מושג הסביבה הטבעית מתייחס למכלול הנופים המופיעים על־פני כדור־הארץ. הוא מנוגד למושג ״הסביבה הבנויה״, המושפעת במידה ניכרת מפעילות האדם. אזור מכונה ״סביבה טבעית״ אם ההשפעה האנושית עליו נשמרת מתחת לרמה מסוימת ומוגבלת. רמה זו תלויה בהקשר ומשתנה באזורים ובהקשרים שונים. המושג אזור טבע בראשיתי (wilderness) מתייחס לאזורים טבעיים ללא השפעה אנושית.

Anemone is a genus of flowering plants in the buttercup family Ranunculaceae. Plants of the genus are commonly called windflowers. They are native to the temperate and subtropical regions of all regions except Australia, New Zealand, and Antarctica. The genus is closely related to several other genera including Anemonoides, Anemonastrum, Hepatica, and Pulsatilla. Some botanists include these genera within Anemone.
הכלנית (שם מדעי: Anemone) או שושנת המלך, היא סוג פרח ממשפחת הנוריתיים בו כ־120 מינים הנפוצים בכל העולם למעט אוסטרליה ואנטארקטיקה. שמו העברי של הפרח ניתן על ידי החוקר היהודי עמנואל לעף בספרו ״צמחי היהודים״. מיני הכלנית הם גאופיטים רב״שנתיים. בעולם הם נפוצים בעיקר באזורים בעלי אקלים מתון או קריר בחצי הכדור הצפוני והדרומי. בארץ ישראל מיוצג הסוג על ידי מין יחיד — כלנית מצויה (Anemone coronaria) — צמח מוגן אשר נפוץ מצפון הארץ עד הר הנגב. הכלנית פורחת מסוף דצמבר ועד סוף מרץ.
