For bit, we designed a custom typeface as part of the brand’s growth, as it expanded beyond peer-to-peer payments into broader financial services. The project was developed in collaboration with OPEN, who led the branding, and Manyone, who worked on the app itself. We also contributed to the execution of the new logo, based on a concept developed by the branding team.
The typeface was created in Hebrew and English as an extended family, with four weights for headlines and four for small text, built around a sense of flow that reflects the way people use the app. A distinctive feature of the design is its numerals, which are intentionally memorable and slightly bold in character, giving the brand a unique and recognizable voice in everyday use.
