Step 1: Open the Windows app
Launch the app.
You’ll land on the recording interface once you’re signed in and have granted permissions.

Step 2: Select where this Doc will live
If you’re in multiple workspaces, choose the workspace for this video Doc.
From the list, select the Knowledge Base you want to publish to.

Step 3: Set language and microphone
Choose the recording language (this controls transcript, captions, voiceover, and doc language).
Open the Microphone selector and pick your input.

Step 4: Choose what to capture
Select Screen, Window, or a specific App.
Verify the name of selected screen.

Step 5: Start recording
Click Record; a 3–2–1 countdown appears.
Use the on-screen control panel to Pause, Restart, or Delete and retry.
Walk through your demo at a steady pace.

Step 6: Stop, upload, and enhance
Click the red Stop button to end the recording.
Wait while the video uploads.
Step 7: Choose enhancements
When prompted, choose enhancements (e.g., Voiceover, Step-by-step doc with images)
Click Do Magic.
Step 8: Review & publish
The system generates a video and a document with snapshots and steps.
Edit any text or image inline if needed.
Click Publish to share.
