Step 1: Access Homepage Settings
Select your Knowledge Base.
In the top right corner, toggle your homepage view to Default or Custom.
Your homepage view will now reflect your selection of Default or Custom.
Step 2: Understand Default Homepage
The default homepage allows you to edit the Title and Description.
This view automatically pulls in Sections, Collections, and Docs that are published.
Content is structured at the root level.
The default homepage displays content as fetched from the root level.
NOTE: You cannot drag, drop, rename, or add cards in the Default Homepage.
Step 3: View the Default Homepage
Hover over your knowledge base, click the three dots, and select "Open link" to see how your Default Homepage appears.
Within the section, you can see your Docs and Collections are displayed at the root level.

What types of Homepages are available in Instant Docs?
There are two Homepage types: Default and Custom. Use the toggle in the top right corner of the Homepage to switch between them.
Can I customize the layout of a Default Homepage?
No. You cannot drag, drop, rename, or add custom cards. The Default homepage displays content pulled from the root level as is.
