Add Sync Point
Use the + icon or press / on your keyboard to add a Sync point after after the key action or phrase in your video script

Confirm Sync
Click the Sync point, select Edit and align the Sync point at the correct video position.

Generate Voiceover
Finalize by generating the voiceover to apply your changes.

Step 1: Add a Sync Point
Identify a part of the video that is not aligning with the script.
Locate the key moment in the video script, for e.g. where a click happens.
Add the Sync point right after that moment in the sentence.
Navigate to the top of the voiceover section and click the + button.
Select Add Sync Point.
Your Sync point is now added to the video timeline.
NOTE: Always add a Sync point just after the key action or phrase in your script to keep the narration aligned with the video.
Tip: When adding Sync or Pause points, they are always placed at your cursor’s position in the script, based on where you last clicked.
Step 2: Confirm the Sync Point
Click on the Sync button, then click Edit.
Scroll the slider to the point in the video where the moment or click occurs.
Once you find the correct spot, click Confirm to save your Sync.
Step 3: Add a Pause Point
Click the + button at the top of the Voiceover bar or type the / shortcut.
Click the Add Pause button.
After adding, click on the Pause point and adjust the slider to change the Pause duration as needed.
Your Pause point is now added and adjusted in the video timeline.
Tip: Pause points are added to give sentences natural breathing space. Only add it if you need more space between your sentences.
Step 4: Finalize Your Edits
Ensure that your Sync point and Pause points are correctly placed.
Always remember to generate the Voiceover to apply the changes.
Play the video preview to confirm.
Tip: Press the back button in the top-left corner if you need to discard changes and return to the last saved version of your Doc.

Why are my Sync and Pause points not working?
Remember to generate the Voiceover to apply your changes to the video after adding your Sync and Pause points.
Why is the pause time so long?
Make sure to click on the Pause point to adjust it. If the pause is still taking too long, remove it, and generate the voiceover again with a new Sync point instead.
Why are my Sync points not aligning when I click generate?
Remember to always add the Sync point just after the key action or phrase in your script to keep the voiceover narration aligned with the video. Then, click the Sync point, choose Edit, and drag the slider to the align the action or phrase in the video.
FAQ
Can I remove a Sync point?
Yes, click the Sync point by selecting it and choosing the delete option.
