and we are letting greedy
childish
hateful men
destroy
and control
all of it

I went on a book buying spree
for my grandson
who is an adult
I bought him a ton of books
and happened to pick up a few
for myself
and yes
I did buy the first book
of the four women assassins
so these are the new ones
after two days of shopping
the final two were on sale
I read a short version of SAPIENS
so thought I’d read the whole thing
I am sooooo excited
my grandson will get his books
over the weekend
it’s a surprise
my daughter and I shopped for him on Wednesday
and I went out today to get him a few more toda
so much fun
I am reading Jurassic Park
but will start KILLERS OF A CERTAIN AGE
and read them both at the same time
since Jurassic Park is boring so far
it might pick up soon but right now
zzzzzz
and I hardly EVER read mysteries
or regular books
I read Urban Fantasy
and non-fiction
but the covers got me
I’ll let you know what I think of all of these

Update on Millie the Mouse…

my daughter
has been in contact
with a Wild Life Service
and they said when the mouse
is one inch long
not counting her tail
she should be released
into the wild
they told her where to release her
and everything she should do
we are sad that she won’t be with us
but she’s not a pet
she is a free and wild mouse
and needs to be outside
I’m not sure when that will happen
but she’s doing so well
and I think she’s an inch long
it won’t be easy
letting her go
but it’s the right thing to do
no one has petted her
she’s afraid
and hides in one of the play tubes
so soon we will be mouseless
but she’s healthy
and we all got to see how beautiful
she is
and when it’s time to leave
she will be released
with love
and lots of treats
