Fog…

Free Fall Leaves photo and picture

there’s something
about fog
when lost in it
we feels isolated
alone
anything could
come out of the fog
a dinosaur
another world
we never know
but in the silence
and closeness
our senses
come alive
every sound is magnified
and our eyes strain
to see what’s in front of us
where suddenly
nothing is certain
or familiar
fog
can be exciting
scary
and a little strange

Tiny Frog…a kind of poem, sort of.

Free Close Up of Frog on Mushroom Stock Photo

tiny frog
the world
must seem so big
when you are light enough
to sit on a
mushroom
I hope you have
a long and happy
life
and never meet
up with any
humans

Fog…a wee story

Free Pine Tree Along a Road on Brown Field during Foggy Weather Stock Photo

I love fog
because fog
is simply a cloud
that grew tired
of being in the sky
and decided
to rest
by laying down
on the earth
so it’s the closest
we can ever get
to playing with
a cloud

Fog…

silhouette of man during foggy day
fog
can be kind of scary
it makes your hearing
kick into high gear
fog is
kind of beautiful
so silent
everything is
muffled
as we wait for the
dinosaurs
to come out
from between the
buildings
roaring
and bending low
to snap us up
