The destruction or deconstruction of liberty…
when something falls apart
something else is either
found
or grows
from the destruction
one never knows
what one will find
but sometimes
the only thing
that can make things better
is to destroy the things
that no longer work
that are no longer fair
and the evil
that will be taking over
is one
MASSIVE
wake up call
that things needed to change
so the destruction
that awaits us
will
hopefully
destroy itself
and leave us with
a tired
but new form of
equality
a new form of
true and actual liberty
and not just lies
and fake words
posing as liberty
and freedom
hiding the reality
of how we live
it’s easy for those
who are
“comfortable”
and entitled
to think nothing was
WRONG
with the way things were
but ask the gangs
the impoverished
the hungry
the uneducated
the aged
the people working
three jobs
to pay the rent
ask the have-nots
if things were fair
ask those who are
NEVER SAFE
ask the WOMEN
there are a million things
that needed changing
we were stagnant
destroying everything
around us
change is needed
and sometimes
change comes in ways
we do not expect
or like
sometimes the evil
that was hidden
rises up
and destroys itself
what’s coming
won’t be easy
and many of us won’t be here
to see the sun shine
but I believe
that the horrors
that await us
will be like a cleansing
FIRE
burning away
male domination and
patriarchal hatred for others
the tipping point
has arrived
let the war for true freedom
begin

look what’s happening
to this beautiful
planet
and the beautiful
beings
who share it
with us
what we are leaving behind
is death
and
destruction
pollution
and
extinction
we are making absolutely sure
there is nothing left
for future generations
because greed
and the never ending thirst
for power over others
as well as hatred
lies
and stupidity
have replaced
beauty
cooperation
joy
creativity
community
safety
healthy food
equality
honesty
truth
proper health care
a livable wage
respect
privacy
and most of all
freedom
eventually
even the memories
of those things
will be gone
and what we’ll
leave behind
is a dead planet
I believe it’s not
our first
and if any of us are left
it won’t be our last

Women’s Equality Day in the US…it’s today.
today is
WOMEN’S EQUALITY DAY
in the US
I wasn’t going to post anything
since women’s rights in this country
are being stripped away
at an alarming rate
the government owns our
BODIES
we are property
our freedom to exist
is met with never ending
violence should we dare
to go out at night
or even during the day
so there’s nothing to
celebrate
we are going
backward
we still get less money
for the same work
we still are not taken seriously
most of the time
there are still safe houses
hidden in neighborhoods
to protect women and children
from violent men
who want to beat
or kill them
we do not have any say
in the laws that govern us
we have a republican party
that believes a ten year old raped child
should carry the rapists baby to term
the same party who never votes
to give money to children’s causes
we have a republican party that wants to punish
doctors
for helping women stay safe
have freedom over their own bodies
the American government
wants complete power
OVER
women’s lives
there is no voting
our voices are
NOT HEARD
they don’t care
what we want
feel or
need
so no
no celebration
of Women’s freedom
in America
where the color of your skin
and the amount of money
in your pocket determines
your prenatal care
the real freedom in this country
is for the rich and powerful men
who write laws
to get what they want
to punish those they
want to keep down
and to satisfy
their hatred
of women in general
America
and the way it treats
women
is something
to be ashamed of
that’s
what we should
have a day for
THE HATRED OF WOMEN’S DAY
IN THE UNITED STATES
because that’s
much closer to the truth
