Haikou, July 1st (Reporter Wang Ziqian) On the morning of July 1st, the 'Xinhongzhuan' ship, the world's first intelligent research and teaching training ship, berthed at berth 18 of Haikou Xinhai Port, officially launching its cultural tour in Qionghai.

The 'Xinhongzhuan' ship is the world's first new research and teaching training ship integrating autonomous navigation, remote control, and shore-based information support, jointly developed and built by China COSCO Shipping Corporation and Dalian Maritime University.

As one of the most advanced intelligent ships in the world, the 'Xinhongzhuan' has achieved full coverage of intelligence and made new breakthroughs in technology in terms of the expansion of intelligent system capabilities, AI model algorithms for ship operation, and immersive intelligent teaching and training with virtual and real integration.

After arriving in Qionghai, the 'Xinhongzhuan' will hold the tour exhibition from July 2nd to 12th at Haikou Xinhai Port, Danzhou Yangpu Port, and Qionghai Longwan Port, focusing on intelligent technology demonstrations, covering autonomous navigation, automatic berthing, and other subjects. During the tour exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the unique charm of the 'Xinhongzhuan' ship up close and learn about its advanced intelligent system and innovative technology.

This tour exhibition is jointly organized by China COSCO Shipping Corporation, Dalian Maritime University, Hainan Port Navigation, and other units such as China COSCO Shipping Boao, and is an important part of the series of activities for China Navigation Day in 2025.
