The 2025 Global Digital Economy Innovation Competition AIGC Creation Competition was launched in Beijing.
Beijing, July 2 (Reporter Lü Shaowei) The opening ceremony of the 2025 Global Digital Economy Innovation Competition AIGC Creation Competition was held at the Beijing National Convention Center on July 2. The purpose of this competition is to promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence generated content (AIGC) technology and creation, and to build an international platform for creators around the world to showcase their creativity and realize their value. The conference attracted more than 300 representatives from government, universities, and enterprises to attend the meeting.
This competition is organized by the Organizing Committee of the Global Digital Economy Conference, and hosted by the Beijing Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, Chaoyang District Government of Beijing, Communication University of China, Central Academy of Fine Arts, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing Film Academy, and Beijing Fashion Academy.
Liu Weiliang, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Economic and Information Technology Bureau, Lu Hui, Second-class Inspector of the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau, and Yin Yuan, Deputy Mayor of Chaoyang District Government of Beijing, attended the event and made speeches.
Liu Weiliang pointed out that the core industrial revenue of artificial intelligence in Beijing has exceeded 350 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of more than 12%. There are more than 2,400 core artificial intelligence enterprises. In mainstream technology routes such as general large models, Beijing continues to maintain a leading advantage, with the number of models registered in Beijing reaching 132 as of now, accounting for more than 30% of the country and firmly occupying the first place nationwide. This AIGC creation competition is an important measure for us to promote the popularization of AIGC technology, stimulate social innovation vitality, and tap into outstanding talents and projects.
This competition has achieved significant innovation in track setting, creating six characteristic tracks including short video short drama, fashion design, digital IP, sound creation, code generation, and adopting a dual-track parallel model of 'scenarized proposition + free proposition'. The competition is based on three core dimensions to comprehensively promote the construction of the AIGC industrial ecosystem: first, through the competition practice, select the most market-valuable creation tools for the industry development to set a technical benchmark; second, focus on discovering high-quality creation teams and growing enterprises with innovative potential; third, systematically launch the 'Future Creator' training program, through the collaboration of industry, academia, and research to build a sustainable creative talent ecosystem, continuously injecting AI technology momentum into digital content creation.

The Beijing Informationization Association and Beijing Shuzhiyunkai Information Technology Co., Ltd. as the organizing committee of the competition jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement with New Star Sky (Beijing) Digital Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Aishite Technology Co., Ltd., Shiyou (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., Toulon Holding Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Olympic Cultural Promotion Association, Kunlun万里科技发展有限公司, Beijing Innovation Lezhinet Network Technology Co., Ltd. (CSDN), Beijing Fengxing Online Technology Co., Ltd., and many other corporate representatives. These industry leading enterprises will give full play to their respective advantages in content production, technology research and development, channel distribution, and serve as the leading units of each track, providing technical support and commercialization guidance for participants.
This competition has achieved a major breakthrough in the competition model, showcasing three differentiated innovative highlights: First, establishing a competition mechanism with 'industry demand orientation', where the topics of each track are deeply formulated by the leading enterprises of the track, ensuring that the works have commercial genes from the very beginning of creation, and excellent outcomes can be directly connected to industrial resources for rapid transformation; second, specially setting up a global creation track, building a platform for the exchange of Chinese and foreign digital creativity, both showcasing the innovative strength of China's AIGC technology and promoting in-depth dialogue with international top creative talents; third, adhering to the open and inclusive technical concept, not limiting the choice of creative tools, participants can freely choose mainstream AIGC tools, while the organizing committee also provides special support for professional tools such as PixVerse, providing all-around technical guarantee for the realization of creativity.
At the launch ceremony, the Chaoyang District focused on promoting the regional industrial development plan, explicitly proposing the '3+X' industrial system as the core development strategy, focusing on cultivating three strategic emerging industrial clusters of industrial internet, artificial intelligence, and digital security, and vigorously building three leading industrial clusters of industrial internet, artificial intelligence, and digital security, to construct and form a '1+1+N' policy support system. The 'Several Measures of Chaoyang District on Supporting the Innovative Development of the Metaverse (Internet 3.0)' were interpreted on the spot, introducing more than 10 high-value policy measures covering financial support, space guarantee, talent introduction, etc., to continuously strengthen policy supply and element guarantee in the field of scientific and technological innovation.
In the subsequent roundtable exchange session, experts and scholars from the Institute of Frontier Cross-disciplinary Research of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, the Institute of Art Research of Communication University of China, the School of Experimental Art and Technology of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the Department of Film and Television Technology of Beijing Film Academy, the School of Design of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and the School of Art and Design of Beijing University of Technology, engaged in an in-depth discussion on the theme of 'Reconstructing Creativity: The Breakthrough and Integration of Art Education in the AIGC Era'.
