From July 1st to 3rd, the 17th International Traffic Technology and Equipment Exhibition was held at the Beijing National Convention Center. This traffic exhibition highlighted the innovative achievements in transportation and technology and the cutting-edge applications, promoting the integration and development of transportation and technology innovation and industrial innovation, and actively shaping new driving forces for transportation and transportation development. During this traffic exhibition, DiDi Qingjiao showcased the VM7.1 electric single-type model and the BO2.7 single-type bike. The VM7.1 electric single-type bike is the first electric single-type model in the sharing industry to meet the new national standards. The whole vehicle weight is 54.89kg (including helmet lock, multi-person detection and other safety functional components), with a plastic content of 5.38%, and the main structure is made of carbon steel structure steel bending and welding, which is safe and reliable. The hardware platform of the new generation of pre-factory mass-produced Robotaxi at DiDi's booth attracted many visitors to stop. This hardware platform is equipped with the first L4 pre-factory mass-produced Robotaxi model in cooperation with GAC Aion, and can achieve 360° full-scenario, full-condition perception recognition through multi-sensor heterogeneous detection and fusion, such as LiDAR, cameras, 4D millimeter-wave radar, infrared cameras, and sound sensors. In 2025, the Beijing Huaiju Port of DiDi's autonomous driving will be put into use, further improving the safety and operational efficiency of autonomous driving vehicles, and providing users with intelligent and convenient travel experience guarantees. Currently, DiDi's autonomous driving has been mixed with orders in demonstration areas in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai, and has operated safely for more than 1800 days.

Investing 2 billion yuan to stabilize employment and promote consumption, and assist the manufacturing industry in going global

In April this year, DiDi announced an additional investment of 2 billion special funds, focusing on 'stabilizing employment and promoting consumption' and assisting the manufacturing industry in going global, and effectively fulfilling the responsibilities of a platform enterprise.

DiDi has always attached importance to the protection of driver rights and interests. Under the guidance of the competent authorities, DiDi upgraded the 'Orange Care Plan' in 2023, improving driver rights and interests from three aspects: income protection, rights protection, and development protection. DiDi is also piloting and exploring commercial pension insurance for drivers, driver family medical and accident insurance, as well as direct connection of car insurance, DiDi Treasures, and lost work insurance, and continuously ensuring driver rights and interests through extreme weather loss compensation, warm winter plan, and convenient subsidy plans. DiDi also builds driver homes, mobile party branches, and industry unions in many places, and holds hundreds of negotiation and consultation meetings every year, as well as various unique driver open days, driver family banquets, and holiday welfare stations.

In terms of promoting consumption, DiDi has continuously played a linking role in consumption through the issuance of travel coupons, the launch of lucky egg vehicles, the establishment of 'DiDi stations', and the formation of protection fleets for various scenarios. It has increased the frequency of travel and boosted consumer vitality. Since last year, DiDi has successively launched services for niche scenarios such as pet travel and overseas travel, providing better services for different niche groups. In the first half of this year, DiDi has also expanded cooperation with Huazhu Club and Hilton, creating a new ecological member experience of 'housing and travel integration'. Sun Ju, CEO of DiDi's ride-hailing company, said, 'We will strengthen daily subsidies for drivers, continue to increase welfare care and rights protection for drivers; and also provide passengers with more convenient and diverse travel services.'

DiDi currently operates in 14 overseas countries including Brazil and Mexico, providing on-demand ride, food delivery, and financial services. DiDi's international business is vigorously promoting the electrification of on-demand ride services overseas. The "Sustainable Mobility Alliance" established by the 99 Mobility Platform, a DiDi subsidiary, has grown to 19 members and is promoting the construction of 10,000 public charging stations in Brazil. In 2024, DiDi, in collaboration with vehicle manufacturers and charging facility partners in Mexico, announced a joint effort to promote the introduction of 100,000 electric vehicles in Mexico by 2030, which is expected to help Mexico reduce more than 500,000 tons of carbon emissions. In June this year, DiDi's Brazilian mobility platform 99 announced the launch of the 99Food (99 Delivery) service in the central Brazilian city of Goiania, allowing local users to complete both ride-hailing and food ordering needs within one app.
