The Beijing Railway Bureau: Reward is available for timely reporting of railway emergencies during the flood season
Beijing, July 1st (Reporter Zhang Ni) The Beijing Railway Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Beijing Railway Bureau) learned that the summer transportation of 2025 has started today, from July 1st to August 31st, a total of 62 days. The Beijing Railway Bureau is expected to send 80.45 million passengers, with an average of 1.298 million passengers per day, an increase of 5.1% year-on-year.
The Beijing Railway Bureau has optimized the efficiency of high-speed and express passenger railway lines, expanded the transport capacity of ordinary-speed passenger trains, and strived to tap the potential of vehicles. Based on the implementation of the third quarter operation schedule on July 1st, the summer peak operation schedule for temporary passenger trains has also been implemented, with 108 operational routes arranged. Among them, there are 63 pairs of long-distance passenger trains heading to Changchun, Shenyang, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Fuzhou, Guiyang, Lanzhou, Hohhot, and Dandong, and 45 pairs of passenger trains starting and ending in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region (including Beijing to Shijiazhuang, Baoding, Handan, Chengde, Qinhuangdao, Zhangjiakou, etc.), ensuring the travel needs of passengers.

The summer transportation period coincides with the flood season. Reporters learned that in order to ensure the safety of railway operations during the flood season, the Beijing Railway Bureau has fully launched the flood control preparation, focusing on the safety of high-speed trains and passenger trains. From intelligent monitoring, material support to public joint defense, a comprehensive flood safety barrier has been constructed. At the same time, data sharing with the flood control departments of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is arranged, with professional personnel stationed in local emergency management departments for flood control. Through a three-dimensional linkage of 'data sharing, joint assessment, and institutional constraints', information is timely grasped, early warning and deployment are carried out in advance, and the response time for flood control is significantly shortened.
The Beijing Railway Bureau has launched a comprehensive flood control campaign across all its railway lines, mobilizing and encouraging the general public to actively participate in the safety prevention of railway operations during the flood season. In case of any emergency affecting the safety of railway operations, anyone can promptly dial the disaster alarm hotline 010-51821110. Those who report emergency information in a timely manner will be rewarded with an amount ranging from 1,000 to 20,000 yuan upon verification.
