One, Overall Operation Situation

The income of software business showed steady growth. In the first five months, the income of software business was 557.88 billion yuan, an increase of 11.2% year-on-year.

The growth rate of total profits maintained double-digit growth. In the first five months, the total profits of the software industry were 672.1 billion yuan, an increase of 12.8% year-on-year.

The export of software business maintained positive growth. In the first five months, the export of software business was 22.71 billion US dollars, an increase of 3.3% year-on-year.

Two, Operation Situation by Field

The income of software products showed stable growth. In the first five months, the income of software products was 1,247.8 billion yuan, an increase of 9.8% year-on-year, accounting for 22.4% of the total industry income. Among them, the income of basic software was 70.4 billion yuan, an increase of 10.0% year-on-year; the income of industrial software products was 113.8 billion yuan, an increase of 7.0% year-on-year.

The income of information technology services maintained double-digit growth. In the first five months, the income of information technology services was 3,809.6 billion yuan, an increase of 12.0% year-on-year, accounting for 68.3% of the total industry income. Among them, the revenue from cloud computing and big data services reached 585.5 billion yuan, an increase of 11.2% year-on-year, accounting for 15.4% of the income of information technology services; the income of integrated circuit design was 151.6 billion yuan, an increase of 15.2% year-on-year; the income of e-commerce platform technical services was 435.5 billion yuan, an increase of 7.8% year-on-year.

The income of information security showed stable growth. In the first five months, the income of information security products and services was 78.7 billion yuan, an increase of 8.4% year-on-year.

The income of embedded system software showed stable growth. In the first five months, the income of embedded system software was 442.8 billion yuan, an increase of 8.9% year-on-year.

Three, Regional Operation Situation

In the first five months, the eastern, central, western, and northeastern regions increased by 11.3%, 11.8%, 11.0%, and 9.2% respectively. The eastern region accounted for 84.2% of the total software business income in the country.

The software business income in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region increased by 12.3%, and the Yangtze River Delta region increased by 11.9%. Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, and Shanghai ranked the top five in the country in terms of software business income, with year-on-year increases of 12.7%, 8.5%, 12.3%, 12.1%, and 15.1% respectively.
