This is our front yard tree – a fruitless Mulberry. It’s really big, and the leaves turn yellow in the fall. Underneath is a weathered wooden bench our neighbor built for us many years ago.

And this other photo is many years ago when our cat Paolo climbed up there. All the cats around here love the climbing tree. 🙂

Spring time is a great time for moving forward, being refreshed, and renewed.

I saw these pretty pink flower trees at the Kansas City Missouri Zoo one year. I’m not sure what kind it is – maybe a Magnolia or Tulip Tree?

Here is a poem done in the Etheree form. It consists of ten lines, each line having one more syllable than the previous one, until there is a total of fifty-five, and is unrhymed.

Give us warm, sunny days, again

Flower of the Day – Transition into Autumn

I know we’ve already had an autumn freeze, but we still have some green grass and also dandelions. We pretty much have them all year round. Our tree is turning yellow, and leaves are falling all pretty and crisp, too.

Just a couple of yellow dandelions, and then they turn into these pretty puff balls.

Here’s a tree I saw in a local park. It had a big thing on the side, sort of hollowed out. That would make a good hide out for some critter, I think.

Here’s the opening to our attic. It is in the garage. It looks spooky up there, and I’m always thinking maybe someone is hiding out up there, or has been living up there for years, and we don’t know about it. I think they spy on us, through little holes in our ceiling. 🙂
