A 2 Z – 2026 – Alphabet

I have this thing I do every night while I’m trying to fall asleep. I get all settled, then pick a topic and go down the alphabet, A to Z listing everything I can think of for that subject.

Sometimes it will be flowers, like this  one above.

Sometimes it will be car (automobile) names

or candy, or song titles, or band names, or book titles, or animals.

I sometimes don’t get very far down the alphabet before I’m already asleep.

Does anyone else do this?

An article says: Cyclamen (Cyclamen persicum) is a petite flowering plant that has sweet-scented, small blooms on long stems that stretch up above the foliage.

Pink Cyclamen flowers in containers for sale.

There were flowers on the old fashioned, wooden wagon at the store. Looks like people have been buying them, as there weren’t many left. Next photo is a closer look at one. Pink and white blossoms and green leaves below, in a container.

Each month is associated with different flowers. According to online information I read this …

One of January’s birth flowers is the carnation. They symbolize love, fascination, and devotion. Some meanings are pink for gratitude, red for deep love, and white for luck.

This is a small arrangement of what I’d call frilly flowers. They are carnations, pink and yellow ones, and some pink many petaled flower I don’t know what is. The one carnation in the middle is light pink, but the edges of the petals are outlined in a dark purple, which is interesting.

Here are some flowers I saw in a bed at a restaurant, outside the front entrance. I don’t know what kind they are, but there are lots of green arrow shaped leaves, and some are red blooms and some are pink.

Peek-a-boo Rose

This is a short, squat green flower pot crammed full of pink lilies with green buds, and one red rose stuck way down on the side where you can barely see it. Must be playing peek-a-boo! 🙂
