One of January’s birth flowers is the carnation. They symbolize love, fascination, and devotion. Some meanings are pink for gratitude, red for deep love, and white for luck.

This is a small arrangement of what I’d call frilly flowers. They are carnations, pink and yellow ones, and some pink many petaled flower I don’t know what is. The one carnation in the middle is light pink, but the edges of the petals are outlined in a dark purple, which is interesting.

Flower of the Day – Carnations

It is said that carnations are the flowers for the month of January.

This is a small arrangement of what I’d call frilly flowers. They are carnations, pink and yellow ones, and some pink many petaled flower I don’t know what is. The one carnation in the middle is light pink, but the edges of the petals are outlined in a dark purple, which is interesting.

This is a white flower with frilly, ruffled edges, and it has some purple in the middle. There are green buds, too. I’m thinking it might be a Foxglove, but I’m not for sure.
