Charms # 9

Taking a look back at my charm bracelet, to remember what all the little charms were, and for what memories they bring.

To finish up this series of charms, I’m just showing the last ones all at once. It would take so long to do each charm individually, and I wouldn’t want you to get bored with it all. You can enlarge to see better by clicking photo. 🙂

The first photo is a charm bracelet my daughter gave me quite a few years ago. She gifted me all the charms, one at a time, for special occasions. The bracelet, and all the charms, are from the wonderful jeweler James Avery. There are 11 charms attached and one that hasn’t been added on yet. They are:
- 2 people (I think for my daughter and me)
- Texas with a star
- Cat
- Letter F (for my grand-son’s name)
- Penguin
- Bell
- Horse
- Snowflake
- Hummingbird
- Heart
- Ladybug
- Orange bead

The second photo is one bracelet I made myself. It has little charms I liked on a chain I got at the craft store. They are:
- Tiger
- Imagine amulet
- Dog
- Clock
- Cat
- Cat
The third photo is of a long necklace I made, using a chain from the craft store, and lots of charm doo-dads from things I found around here. I wanted it to be clunky and junky, you know, the more the better. I’ve worn this at times, when we go someplace, and get lots of comments and interest in it. To mention a few of the items, there are:
- Parts of earrings
- Photo key chain bit
- Engraved shamrock I got at the fair when I was a kid
- Diary keys
- Safety pin with part of my name in beads
- Good luck penny I wire wrapped
- Parts of other necklaces & bracelets

That’s about all for the charms, unless I forgot some. Hope you’ve enjoyed seeing them. 🙂
