The direct passenger flow is mainly concentrated in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Chengdu, and other directions. According to ticket sales and traffic flow patterns in previous years, the peak day of summer travel this year is expected to send 760,000 passengers, a 1.9% increase over the peak day in 2024, and the passenger flow during the summer peak day has achieved continuous positive growth.
To adapt to the new travel trends of 'micro-holidays' and 'light tourism', the Zhengzhou Bureau of the State Railway Group gives full play to the advantages of the 'mi' pattern high-speed railway network. It will increase the operation of high-speed trains on key lines such as the Jingguang High-Speed Railway, Jizhou High-Speed Railway, and Zhengyu High-Speed Railway, and plans to add 139 temporary passenger trains. It is actively creating a rapid travel circle centered in Zhengzhou, where passengers can reach all provincial-level cities in Henan Province within an hour, and major cities and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region within two hours. At the same time, it plans to add 23 night high-speed trains on popular sections from Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Nanyang, and Puyang to Beijing, Shanghai, and other cities, providing convenient travel options for passengers at all times.
