Writer's Block: Deal or No Deal

What's on your list of dealbreakers when it comes to romantic relationships?
Another one of these...I must be bored.

OK, deal breakers in relationships.

If you have no sense of humour or take yourself too seriously, it's not on. If you don't read, or at very least show some interest in reading (plays, books, comics, cereal boxes, whatever) it's not going to happen. If you're a racist or bigot, then you're a twat. I can't deal with fundamentalists (of all faiths, not any one in particular). If you get annoyed with constant Simpsons references, I can't be with you. We're really going to have problems if you seriously give a toss about what other people think of you.

If you tell me that sarcasm isn't a valid form of humour, or that it's the lowest/cruelest form of humour, that's not a deal breaker - I'll kill you.

No cheating, no lying and no stealing. No emotional abuse (leave that to me, lol...Sort of) or physical abuse...Any type of abuse, really.

Don't be afraid of shucking off normalcy for a while and don't get too hung up on schedules because if you're with me you won't ever be able to follow schedules again. I hate that!!!! Spontaneity is king!!!!

Constantly being asked, "what are you thinking?" is a deal breaker. In fact, scratch that...I'm putting it up there with the sarcasm thing.

God, there're loads more...It's no surprise I'm single.

The structure is good...I've been off on uni hols for a while and I'm crawling the walls with nothing to do.

    Thanks for your thoughts :)

Hope all goes well and for that price that therapist lady should include a 5 course meal from the best restaurant in Sydney as part of her therapy session.

It's good to hear from you. I'm glad the meds are working and that your therapist knows what she's doing.

Do you feel you do better with a lot of structure? Or does that sometimes get to be too…
