So because I've become awfully bitter due to all of the awful "my, isn't the world a horrible place" documentaries I've been watching (including, but not limited to, one about homeless kids and one about Golden Gate bridge suicides (which was actually really good, believe it or not)), I decided to trawl the net a little while ago and managed to come up with a few things that make life just a wee bit more bearable. At least for a little while longer.

Now, I love the Born This Way blog (check it out) and ifoundyourcamera.net (check that out too), and I've long loved Awkward Family Photos and PostSecret and even Project Unbreakable brings a smile to one's map, but, boys and girls, the granddaddy of all feel-good, chipper for no real reason blogs is 1000awesomethings.com

I dare you not to find things that make you at least a little bit OK with having gotten out of bed.

Simple pleasures, what?

The structure is good...I've been off on uni hols for a while and I'm crawling the walls with nothing to do.

    Thanks for your thoughts :)

Hope all goes well and for that price that therapist lady should include a 5 course meal from the best restaurant in Sydney as part of her therapy session.

It's good to hear from you. I'm glad the meds are working and that your therapist knows what she's doing.

Do you feel you do better with a lot of structure? Or does that sometimes get to be too…
