One Word Sunday – Three

Three huge creepy clown decorations that were in our neighbor’s yard for Halloween!

Here we are looking up at three pairs of mannequin legs dressed in leggings (blue/black/gray) in a store. There were no upper bodies!

Three horses & riders wading in the lake by our house.

The number 3 on a checkout counter at the store.

My actual children’s book, “The Three Billy Goats Gruff”. This is the first book I learned to read.

“Gimme Three Steps” is a song by American southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, released from the band’s debut album, (Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd) (1973). It was written by bandmates Allen Collins and Ronnie Van Zant.

For this challenge we are to find things that are pairs. There are quite a few items we say come in pairs, or are a pair. I found a few examples in the photos below.

Here we are looking up at three pairs of mannequin legs dressed in leggings (blue/black/gray) in a store. There were no upper bodies!

A pair of novelty salt & pepper shakers. I have a collection of S&Ps, and this one I once entered into our local fair, under antiques & relics. It won a ribbon! This is a brown kangaroo and baby joey in the pouch.

Here’s a pair of pears! 🙂 They are sitting on my counter until they ripen a bit more. One is a green one and the other is a red one.

Two pairs of simple flip flop shoes… one pink and black leopard print, and one aqua with white & green skulls

Several pairs of eye glasses I’ve had, including sun glasses, wire frame glasses, plastic frames and clip on shades.

This is another of my odd-ball photos from a long time ago.

They are mannequin legs that are sitting up on top of a shelf.

I saw these at a museum, or rather the Science Spectrum children’s museum.

I have no idea why they were perched up top like that, or what the meaning of it was.
