Corruption, arrogance, the arrogance of corruption. Media and propaganda control was not enough to save the filthy rich US establishment from their monopoly on the State… For years, the so-called US “Democrats” used fear, raw fear, instead of hope, to get votes (I am a registered “Democrat”, so can’t be accused of anti-”Democrat” bias; also helped crucially with the campaign of that ass, Obama…). Since 2016, “Democrats” have claimed civilization would end if Trump became president. However, more and more US citizens identified with the anti-establishment mood of Trump (who had it since he was 20, as then he sued the US government, no less!)… Meanwhile, everybody could see from where the self-declared “Democrats” may have got the notion of politicians killing civilization, because that is exactly what “Democratic” politicians were doing: defunding the police, making healthcare and housing unaffordable, losing wars (Afghanistan, Ukraine, Africa, Middle East, etc..).
Under “Democratic” administrations, for years, a Democrat and Representative from California, Trump hater Nancy Pelosi, as Speaker of the House, refused to pass a law preventing politicians like her to run ahead of the markets by trading stocks before a legislation that she herself would lead, was passed. Ironically, Republicans pressed for that obvious change. Meanwhile, her husband Paul Pelosi’s trades involved major companies like Apple, Tesla, and Alphabet (Google’s parent company). A meeker law, enjoining disclosures of trades, was passed in 2012.
In some cases, the timing of these trades has coincided with legislative activities, raising questions about whether the trades were influenced by non-public information available to Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.
Pelosis traded over the years like maniacs… and made a fortune. One of Nancy Pelosi’s most recent transactions was on 2024-07-26, when she purchased shares of NVIDIA Corp(NVDA) with a value of $1,000,001 – $5,000,000, according to the financial disclosure required by Title I of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978. Sometimes she would trade 30 times a day… The end result is that the Pelosis are worth more than half a billion dollars. Fellow “Democrats” the Feinsteins, also from San Francisco, piled up more than a billion: he traded in China, she led the legislation regarding China.
In California, thieves could grab anything less than $1000 (one thousand dollars), and prosecuting them was illegal… So the “Democratic” officials had decided. Entering pharmacies was unreal, with everything under lock and key, even household detergents. In 2020, Presidential voting was made, in California, by dropping see-through envelopes, where the young Democrat vote collectors could see, through the paper, that I had decided to vote for Trump.Californian Democratic officials had decided to provide no “privacy envelopes”… which even my HOA has…
Last time “Democrats” ran on “hope”, they trampled and mangled it. Obama made a healthcare reform which was designed, he said himself, to augment the cost of healthcare for 95% of Americans. In truth, Obama was like a child, and never saw a billionaire he would not follow the advice of.
Obama, and his Republican opponent McCain, were told by Bush and his treasury secretary, ex-CEO of Goldman Sachs, what the resume plan of the economy was going to be. In truth, it was a recovery plan for the establishment, the plutocratic establishment. The top three officers of the bankrupt Lehman Brothers made do with several billions among themselves. The tone of the Obama presidency was given, even before it started, and it had been set up by GW Bush.
After that, it was all the way downhill, with gifts after gifts to the wealthiest and most powerful people in the USA. Sure, Mr. Trump does the same, but here was the Democrat elected for “change” and “hope” naming to top cabinet jobs multibillionaire heirs of oldest fortunes in the US. An example? A friend of Obama since he got to Chicago, multibillionaire Penny Pritzker was made US Commerce Secretary.. This sort of thing does not happen by accident, but manipulation, conspiracy and plot.
And so on and so forth. Much of the “progressive” programs were just monopolies in disguise, attributed to friends who then rewarded with succulent, extravagantly paid jobs, the politicians who had augmented their profits. Ironically that South African once illegal immigrant, Musk, manipulated the system expertly.
President Truman would have been scathing about the degree of corruption of the “Democratic” Party. Truman, a “Democrat”, had refused to make a dime from his presidency, once retired… he gave plenty of speeches… for free. And Truman was very clear:{profiting materially from his status as ex-US president] “would demean the office of the Presidency”.
California has started to turn back to common sense, recalling Price and Gascon, two woke Attorney Generals of the important counties of Los Angeles and Alameda. The law about not prosecuting thefts below $1000, was also repelled by referendum.
The trouble with representative democracy is much worse in Europe, after decades of delirious wokism, the economies have been gutted, recovery looks impossible without ultra major reforms… which are not even proposed by the hopelessly mentally retarded European political class.
Even Biden looks like Trump, as seen from Europe, because Biden, like Trump, put America First… Europe has learned instead to put Europe last, and knows how to make an excellent job of this call to the abyss. Trump says:”Drill, baby, drill!”, but Europe sings: “shrink baby, shrink” and expiate for its (mostly imaginary) colonial crimes… France sits on one century of shale gas, but prefers to get it from Uncle Putin, the tyrant with a nuke mental problem.
For decades, Europe has been sending the European economy to China… Europeans don’t know how to make stuff anymore, they just know how to buy it from China and the US. In France, the main opposition politicians who ran for the presidency three times, and was a finalist twice, scoring not far from a majority, and at the head of the party getting most of the vote in France, is prosecuted. The state is trying to “want my political execution” as she put it herself. Her crime? She didn’t violate any French law. Prosecutors accuse the leader of the opposition in France to have violated a… European law (some of her European assistants would have worked sometimes for a French political party…). So Europe has reached banana republic levels: no more industry and government send the democratic opposition to prison under the flimsiest reasons…
What failed? The fundamental reason is that “representative democracy” is a contradiction in adjecto (the adjective contradicts the noun it accompanies). Representatives have much too much power. The US has the same problem, but, because it is more of a polycracy (many centers of power), it is surviving, democratically speaking, better. When California went crazy from delirious wokism, and the economy tanked, people started to move to Colorado or Texas… In Europe, motion is not that easy…
The country with the most honorable and wealthiest economy in Europe is Switzerland (Although Luxembourg, Ireland and Norway are wealthier, they cheat: Luxembourg is conspiracy central, Ireland tax evasion central, and Norway is hydrocarbon central). Switzerland has also a large part of local democracy (cantons are semi-independent republics) and direct democracy (the only state like that with… California… Not an accident…
To recover, the “Democrats” need to throw away their old leadership… including their old mental leadership, and not just the “woke” parade of idiocies. Erroneous ecological strategies (windmills, all electric, no nuclear, no hydrogen, etc…) have also to be ditched. One could even dream that my old friend Obama would see the light and would dare to promote it… But don’t hold your breath: under Obama a crackdown on isegoria and parrhesia occured… Namely the Internet got patrolled by the thought police, with Internet execution, without trial, at any moment and for any excuse.
Worldwide, the anti-civilizational mood has brought increasing hate against… civilization. The collective “West”, the successor regimes of the ancient Roman Republic, themselves descending, one way or another, from the Europe of the Franks, its Roman law, its Latin language, and its enduring notion of civilizationalizing mission, are accused of all ills.
That Europe, its colonies (the USA being the most prominent), and its emulators (Japan, China, India, etc.) are standing in the way of progress, is a lie and an absurdity. Nothing could be further from the truth. But it is increasingly believed by people with little sense of history, psychology and ethics beklieve it, and the most influential in the European intelligentsia, believe it.
That this is a lie and an absurdity is blatant. The demonstration is itself in the nature of the haters of the collective “West”: all the haters of the collective “West” have imitated the “West”, more or less… Most of them pretend to have presidents (a notion inherited from the Roman “Princeps”, the first in the Senate, a notion which Augustus weaponized for his own benefit…)… Most pretend to have national assemblies… Most of them pretend to be “Republics”… Not knowing that the Roman Republic was infused with safeguards against one-man rule, and was a direct democracy disguised as a “mixed” constitution [1]…
We are not living in an optimal and optimized democracy. Time to do better. The notion of the Deep State must be addressed… Athens didn’t have a Deep State, and died from it, quick… The Feudal Order in Europe was the ultimate Deep State, and its unholy alliance with the Vatican fanatics slowed down progress for centuries… Now Europe, supposedly democratic, is paralyzed by its own Deep State (and its friendship with the Kremlin tyrant… Who had already expressed his desire to insure Europe’s security, as he himself said, already more than 20 years ago…)
Because of the hate against the collective “West” (including Japan, Korea, etc…), improving democracy is a matter of strategy, not just comfort. Too many rats on planet Earth, too little space, or so they feel (the Nazis already felt that way, and engaged as a result in a war they couldn’t win…). Democracy must dazzle them… Otherwise… Not a pleasant outcome… Consider Gaza…
