China Southern Airlines opens a direct flight from Guangzhou to Tashkent, and the tour groups set off for the 'taste test' trip.
On June 30, Guangzhou (Cheng Jingwei, Zhan Xiaolan) China Southern Airlines officially opened the direct flight from Guangzhou to Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
China Southern Airlines has opened a 'Guangzhou-Tashkent' route, which operates 3 flights a week and has a one-way flight time of about 7 hours.

On that day, the first group of tourists organized by Guangzhou Travel under the Lingnan Group set off from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to start a 6-day journey to Uzbekistan. The tourists will visit the ancient city of Tashkent, visit the Emir Timur Museum, taste authentic hand-pulled rice, and deeply explore Samarkand.
As one of the world-famous ancient cities, Samarkand is as old as Rome, Athens, and Babylon, and is known as the 'Pearl of the Orient' in ancient Arabic literature.
Compared with the traditional transfer route, the direct flight from Guangzhou to Tashkent saves tourists at least half a day, allowing them to have more time to deeply experience the unique cultural and cultural style of Uzbekistan. In addition, with the opening of the direct flight from Guangzhou to Almaty, Kazakhstan, by China Southern Airlines on June 25, these two routes have built an 'Air Silk Road' for economic and cultural exchanges between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
Journalists learned that Guangzhou Travel organized a tour group on June 25, taking the direct flight from Guangzhou to Almaty to carry out a travel itinerary in Kazakhstan; the subsequent two flights (i.e., June 27 and June 29) were also for the tour groups. In addition, the travel agency fully utilized the advantages of these two direct flights to launch a dual-country tour product of 'Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan 11/12 Days'.
