The contract amount of the 2025 (China) Asia-Europe Commodity Trade Fair exceeded 417.9 billion yuan.
From the news conference on the results of the 2025 (China) Asia-Europe Commodity Trade Fair (hereinafter referred to as 'Commodity Fair') held on July 2, Xinhua News Agency Wulunbeijie reported that this year's fair signed 365 economic and trade cooperation projects, with a total contract amount of 417.924 billion yuan (RMB).
Li Xuan, Secretary-General of the Party Committee of the Xinjiang Department of Commerce and Secretary-General of the Organizing Committee of the 2025 (China) Asia-Europe Commodity Trade Fair, introduced that this year's fair attracted enterprises from 50 countries and regions to participate. In addition to traditional neighboring countries, the number of participants from Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America has significantly increased, especially with the first-time participation of countries such as Ethiopia, Zambia, Comoros, and Senegal, which are members of the African Union.

This year's China (Xinjiang) Free Trade Zone High-quality Development Investment Promotion Conference and the East-West Free Trade Zone Industrial Cooperation Matching Event were also held during the China (Xinjiang) Commodity Trade Fair, promoting the practical results of the construction of the Xinjiang Free Trade Zone.
Li Xuan stated that this is the first industrial matching event held since the establishment of the Xinjiang Free Trade Zone, with 19 projects signed, totaling 2.711 billion yuan in contract amount, covering advanced equipment, commerce and logistics, new materials, processing of agricultural and sideline products, and electronic information technology fields.
Journalists at the press conference also learned that, in the first five months of this year, 14,435 new enterprises were established in the Xinjiang Free Trade Zone, bringing the total to 40,748.
