The Tianliuwan Special Bridge, the highest bridge along the entire Chengdu-Chongqing Central Line High-Speed Railway, was successfully joined.
Chengdu, July 1 (Reporter Liu Zhongjun) On July 1, with the completion of the last concrete pouring, the Tianliuwan Special Bridge, the highest bridge along the entire Chengdu-Chongqing Central Line High-Speed Railway, was successfully joined, laying a solid foundation for the timely completion of this high-speed railway line.

Photo provided by the Fifth Bureau of CRCC.According to information, as an important part of China's 'Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal' high-speed railway network along the river, the Chengdu-Chongqing Central Line High-Speed Railway starts from the Chongqing North Railway Station in the Chongqing hub, passes through Yubei District, Shapingba District, Bishan District, Tongliang District, Dafu District in Chongqing, as well as Ziyang City and Chengdu City in Sichuan Province, and finally enters the Chengdu hub at Chengdu Station. The main line is 292 kilometers long, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

The Tianliuwan Special Bridge is located in Anyue County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. The bridge is 1,644.6 meters long, with 39 piers and 38 box girders designed. The continuous rigid frame beam that was recently joined has a full length of 337.4 meters, including 4 main piers and 2 side piers. The 21st pier is as high as 79 meters, making it the highest bridge along the entire Chengdu-Chongqing Central Line High-Speed Railway. It is characterized by high technical standards, high construction difficulty, and high safety risks. 'Under the complex terrain conditions of mountains and ravines, by using the automated walking system and high-precision sensor control, the construction cycle of a single section has been shortened to 7 to 10 days, and the linear deviation control accuracy has been kept within 5 millimeters.' Xu Honggang, the project leader of the Sichuan section of the Chengdu-Chongqing Central Line High-Speed Railway of the Fifth Bureau of CRCC, said. At the same time, common quality problems such as excessive linear deviation, uneven concrete joints, and inconsistent alignment heights at the joining ends of similar bridges have been solved, significantly improving the construction accuracy and quality of the bridge.
The completion of the Chengdu-Chongqing Central Line High-Speed Railway will connect it with the existing Xi'an to Chengdu High-Speed Railway, Zhengzhou to Chongqing High-Speed Railway, as well as the under-construction Xining to Chengdu High-Speed Railway and Chengdu to Dazhou to Wanzhou High-Speed Railway, among other lines. This will further improve the road network structure in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, significantly reduce travel time between the two places, and greatly facilitate the travel of people along the route.
