A photo I took the other day of a black, metal fence line. There is also a large spiky plant with the leaves arranged in lots of lines.

Actually we were at the Drivers License Renewal building here in town. We had to wait in line, of course, but we had chairs to sit in. 🙂

This is a month of blue! It’s a fun challenge created by Becky of “The Life of B”, and each day we show something blue. The only rule beside blue, is that the photo MUST be SQUARE!

As an added bonus, I’ve found songs with blue in the title or lyrics, or at least something to do with the photo. 🙂

Today is the last day of the Blue July Squares! It’s been a lot of fun to find blue things, and also some songs to go along with the photos.

For the last entry of my blues, I’m just showing several photos of some I took that never made it into the earlier days of the month.

  • Red, White, & Blue USA flag inspired helium balloon
  • Miscellaneous items (small fabric sack with blue & white candy inside, A toy blue and yellow thermometer, a white pencil with a cat’s head wearing a stocking hat of blue, white & yellow, and a blue ruler,
  • a sign at Ft. Davis TX saying ‘enlisted men’s barracks 1876 – 1887, Canteen 1888 – 1891)
  • White jellyfish enhanced by blue lights in a large aquarium at Kansas City Missouri Aquarium
  • My blue magnetic board with some magnets that have blue on them

Here it is Monday, and I’m just doing the Song Lyric Sunday. 🙂

The prompt word that Helen suggests is ‘bragging’. Songs about bragging on yourself, I think. It was a bit hard to find one that I’d heard of that had anything to do with bragging. This one seems about right. I don’t know if that’s really the intention of this song, but to me the lyrics seem to say she is so wonderful, and thinks so highly of herself, that only the best things will do for her. That goes for boyfriends, as well as material objects that are offered to her.
