Here are a couple of past posts done on October 11 th

First is a rock that I painted and wrote Hay Ride in red, and some yellow straw stuff. It was for a Halloween challenge in 2017. I also drew a wagon with straw and the words hayride on the background part of the photo.

Here’s a poem I wrote on October 11, 2014, about trick or treating at Halloween.

BEFORE/AFTER

We roamed the streets,

Begging for treats…

Halloween night was fun.

A night to beware,

A costume to scare…

We knew it was all or none.

When down went the sun,

We kids would run,

From house to house far and near.

The candy they gave,

Would be gone in days,

No real danger would we fear.

But, then that time,

Crazies committed a crime..

Evil came to scare us all.

So, now in the fall,

Kids go to the mall…

And x-ray their trick or treat haul.
