VISION
We approached CÔTE with a simple idea: wellness works better when it feels like an extension of home. In Palm Beach, where the ocean already encourages a slower pace, we saw an opportunity to design communal spaces that don't just support wellbeing — they embody it. Our role grew from interiors to full architectural vision post-DA, shaping a building that evolved considerably through multiple ECIs and two builders. More than any other contributor, we lived with this project. The philosophy that guided us from the start remained constant: natural materials, organic forms, abundant light. Wellness not as a feature, but as a feeling woven into daily life.
SOLUTION
The wellness centre and gym provide fitness areas for early workouts. The yoga studio offers space for movement and breathing practices. The pool anchors the communal offering, surrounded by lounge areas. Communal dining and barbecue facilities extend outdoors. Floor-to-ceiling windows maintain connection to Palm Beach's coastline whilst ensuring privacy. We captured the coastal context through materials and organic forms, with apartments opening onto views from ocean to hinterland. CÔTE's sit steps from the sand.
