Different from the traditional grid-connected energy storage power stations, as the first grid-forming energy storage project in the 'Green Electricity Town', this project has the functions of voltage and frequency regulation, and can spontaneously start to supply power to the power grid when a large-scale power outage occurs due to faults in the surrounding lines, ensuring the stability and reliability of power supply.

At the same time, the project utilizes artificial intelligence and big data analogy technology to develop the optimal proportion model for new energy, accurately calculates the optimal configuration ratio of source, load, and storage required for '24-hour green electricity' supply, and provides a reference basis for the scale of new energy and energy storage construction in the new power system, realizing intelligent optimal proportioning.

After the grid connection of this project, Datang Minning Energy Storage Power Station is equivalent to a super-large 'power bank', basically achieving one charge and one discharge per day, meeting the demand of Minning Town, with a storage capacity of 200,000 degrees of electricity at one time. After the project is put into production, it can meet the electricity needs of about 24,000 households for a day, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 30,000 tons annually.

Nowadays, Minning Town has become the first town in the country to achieve 24-hour green electricity supply, and has built the first town-level new-type power system with off-grid operation capability.

As a crucial basic material for modern industry, industrial sapphire has an increasingly wide range of applications in fields such as LED lighting and display, consumer electronics, medical beauty, industrial lasers, industrial optical windows, semiconductor substrates, and high-end micro-LED displays. Once monopolized by foreign countries, this new material has taken root in Yinchuan and developed into a growth pole for the high-quality development of the city's industry.

Currently, the industrial sapphire industry chain in Yinchuan has gathered key backbone enterprises such as Tiantong Yinsha, Xinjing Sheng, Jinghuan, Jingchuang, Xinjing, Chuangsheng, and Jingyu, with a sapphire crystal production capacity of 8,200 tons, sapphire ingots of 78 million millimeters, a crystal sheet production capacity of 21.6 million pieces, 1,200 crystal growth furnaces, 240 sets of high-end automated intelligent assembly production lines for sapphire, and a complete industrial sapphire industry chain from crystal growth to rod extraction, slicing, grinding, polishing, and intelligent terminal, forming the largest industrial sapphire production base in the country.
