It's totally guaranteed 100% authentic Dominicware, we all witnessed him signing it and I took a photo of the man himself holding it.

Even if you don't want it, go and boost the wonga that UNICEF will get by bidding early :) as we have to tell Dommie how much he raises. It's a 7 day listing.

Had a fab time at Utopia - DK was on form, very nice to us. We breakfasted with him then spent the rest of the day in his presence and before he left after dinner he came and found our table and said goodbye to us and gave us all a kiss and a hug.

It was a really nice weekend and we met a bunch of crazy ASJ fans who were staying at the same hotel, so that was fun too.

And the best surprise - Jojo waiting at Heathrow arrivals for me! I was going to get the train, but there he was ::snuggles him::

Another thing that struck me about DK was how lovely he was, once more, to all the people who came to see him. I mean, he was cool with us, natch, because we spend a small country's GDP on him every few weekends...but some people during the day came up to him and said "Do you mind if I take a photo of you/with you" etc. And DK would say "Well I charge a fiver"...and a few times when people looked a little downcast and said they couldn't afford it, he'd just wave a hand and say 'Go on then, you can have a freebie!"

Everyone left with a smile. Whattaguy. heh.

I left sal_at_home's place at 1720 yesterday. I got back home at 2345! Which is RIDICULOUS.

And that's without taking their helpful advice of 'you can catch a train and change...at SOUTHAMPTON' (that's like...80 miles the wrong way to get to Brighton.

Anyways. Got home safe, got to work this morning. Almost stabbed Gary to death. Have been given a job 'Can you just do this by Friday morning?'....Yuh..it's only FIVE FRICKIN' BALCONIES. ::whimpers:: Of course I can.


But DK and the gang are worth it.

Yup, Memoribilia is over, DK is, once again FREE.

We had a fab time, spent too much money and FAR too much time loitering and taking in the view. But heck, he's paid well for it. (He said he'd charge a fiver per 15mins standing and staring...luckily he didn't ever send his minder over for the money, or some people would be bankrupt by now)

He was on far better form on the Sunday - not hungover and looking forward to having a decent lunch, I'm sure ;) (For those of you not in the loop, we took him packed lunch on Sunday cos the con doesn't feed it's 'stars'.) Isn't he lucky to have totally manic fans who have no lives people like us, who'll make him lunch.

As always he was sweet and charming and smelt nice (although some seriously depraved conversation about sniffing him took place...just...don't ask.)

On Sunday he was very free and easy with the hugs and kisses, which is always a plus. I only went to ask if he wanted more coffee as we were on our way to get some and he randomly grabbed me and hugged and kissed me...all VERY nice, but quite uncalled for!

The facial hair still looks like some hideous attempt at teenage bumfluff. It's horrible, IMO, but I'm sure for the film they'll make it look good. Vey Arty, Dah-ling, as he's playing a director. I have a fiver saying he wears glasses for the film.

He told us a few other things about possible gigs he was trying to get a part of, but made it very clear that the info wasn't for general release...but assured us that once he got anything he'd let us all know.

He also said he'd try to get some more 8x10s for next time...cos he knows we have all of his current ones! After a little chat about Desmond's and trendy Tony he said he thought he should get some pictures made up from then...I think that's a fab idea! He also said he'd like to get some from Buffy. Hopefully, however, he'll soon have lots of new projects to get stills etc from.

So, yeah. Not much new to report that hasn't got to the con reports already. (they can be found on the DKEB and Entstslash yahoogroups)

Pictures will follow ASAP - once I'm home and hooked up, or once we can sort out Sal's camera onto her machine. Weehee!

Then you can all make your own minds up on the facial hair phenomenon.

Anyway, we finally dragged ourselves away from the poor guy and left him in peace. I know he's paid well for these things...but is it enough to deal with us? Sometimes I think maybe not. He didn't exactly look sorry to see us leave - although he did thank us profusely for the lunch :)

Best moment overall: DK announcing loudly when talking to us about his new film 'I'm a slasher!' followed by much laughter from us and mutterings of 'join the club, mate!'
