Okay, folks. I want an iPod touch. I want it for music, watching programmes and playing games on. (boring commutes will, I would like to think, be a thing of the past)

So...I'd LIKE a 32g one...but cost-wise, I might need a 16g. Does anyone have one? Any advice on the real-world capacity? how many tv-download type iPlayer thingies can you fit on? Is it big enough?

AND...how can I convert things from my DVDs to watch on the 'touch?

I'm a bit clueless, but I want to learn!

Last time I had a problem with putting music on my phone, one of you lovely lovely flisty people sorted me out (i'm very sorry I can't remember who...I'm shite)...now I need help again!

I'm trying to put Spider Pig as my ringtone, from an iTunes MP3...and my phone says 'system error' everytime. So would anyone out there be willing to chop it down to a smaller size (I think it repeats, so I'd just have like, the 'first half') and resave it...and I'll see if that works?

Obviously, I can provide my file of the song.
