Why, when the iPods are so lovely, do Apple still insist on making some of the worst headphones around? They are shit and I need to find my other ones ASAP. (Can't listen to iPod on the train because the bleed out of these apple ones is so bad the rest of the carriage actually hears my music better than I do)

Now I work across two computers - ScrumpyToo, my MacBook Pro, when I'm at home, and Ace, my wee netbook, when I'm out and about, I could really do with a place to keep some of my writing which I regularly use on both. Right now I can't find my USB stick, and anyway, it'd be REALLY handy to have somewhere online I could store it all, work on it, and have it updated on both my machines. Sorta exactly like GoogleDocs does...EXCEPT GoogleDocs won't accept some of my longer works as it runs over their size limits! PFFFFFFT.

So whilst I could split it, that would be sorta annoying...so does anyone have any other suggestions? Got to be easy to use, compatible with Mac and Linux, and most of all FREEE.

My stress levels are on a total rollercoaster. This whole business thing is actually wringing me dry of every emotion. I feel so monumentally unsettled. I hate it, because I'm so desperate for Jojo to come down here and live with me, and be happy, ack!

In other news, my new mobile is luvverly. It's just so...great! I've never had all this stuff before - the clever stuff, like emails and lots of music and I could put a whole episode of LoM on there to watch!! AND even better, I can put word documents on there - so even though I can't type on them, at least I can remember what i wrote/take things to read places etc. How fab??

I'm still getting used to it - huge learning curve and all that, but it all seems to make sense. (i say, not being able to sign into Skype at all)

It does have a setting where you can have fish on the screen, and when you touch it they swim to your fingers...I don't have that turned on. I have a mean and moody looking Ray Carling XD

So ya, I gots email, I gots a phone, I gots music (my current ringtones are Fiction Plane - Two sisters, Pink Floyd - another brick in the wall, Gnarls Barkely - Gone Daddy, Gone. And my message tone is Spider Pig. I haven't felt the urge to set any of the million other tones I could...)

oookay, so I have a large file, 247MB (zipped!) that I need to make available to other people to download for a while (say a few weeks?) Does anybody have any recs? Obviously, I want all this for free!! All the file sharing places I can find either have file size limits or download limits which are sorta tiny and ridiculous.

I've got people hanging on for this file...whatdoIdo??

I know some of you guys out there must be good at this stuff :)

...know a FREE programme which will work on my mac that will convert my aifc files to MP3s? I don't want to record stuff in MP3 cos of the quality loss, but I would like to pass it on to people in a smaller file format. My aifc files are huuuge.
