Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “ship.’” Use it as a noun, a verb, or slang … or all three! Enjoy!

I just got through looking up some words that have ‘ship’ in them. There were so many, and most I’d never heard of. Now, I’m tired of even seeing or hearing that word, ‘ship’.
You know how it is when you see or say a word a bunch of times, until it has no meaning, and it looks wrong and sounds wrong when you see or say it? I guess our minds are overloaded with that word. That’s how it is right now.
Okay, what can I write about it. I’ve never been on a ship. And, what makes a floating vessel a ship instead of a boat? they both float don’t they? Is it the size? I’ve been on a boat before, a motor boat my uncle had. I’ve been on a boat ride through a zoo river to see the sights, and I’ve been on a boat that went around Pearl Harbor in Hawaii to see the Memorial. I don’t call any of those a ship.
I can think of some songs with that word, but I’m not going to play them right now. I also know some other compound words with ship, but I imagine you all know them, too.
There are lots of fun phrases and sayings with ship. Look them up if you want to. I’m sure you’ve heard them before.
Now for something else I just thought of …
A guy thought he was hip
He went to sea on a ship
But when he bragged
About who he shagged
She gave him a big fat lip.
