Can I install WEBCON on my on-premises environment?
Yes. Any version of the WEBCON platform can be installed on your on-premises environment or in a private cloud (e.g., your own Microsoft Azure tenant). Importantly, whether you choose your own environment or the SaaS version, you are using the same platform version. This ensures the security of your investment – you can move from the cloud to on-premises, or the other way around, at any time.
Can I build applications for external users, such as my company’s clients?
Yes. Additionally, the subscription version allows you to charge these users on a per-use basis, so you don’t need to purchase dedicated licenses for them. Common use cases include support portals and handling customer claims.
Can I mix Lite, Core, and Premium licenses?
Yes – that’s exactly the point. By choosing Lite licenses for users who only occasionally use the applications prepared for them, you can reduce subscription costs. As platform usage grows within your organization, you can simply upgrade to Core or Enterprise licenses, where usage frequency no longer matters.
