You can integrate WEBCON Freemium with on-premises SharePoint and Exchange Servers, Office 365, Windows Active Directory, and/or Azure Active Directory. Limitations? Two main ones: the Freemium database can grow to a maximum of 10 GB, and it’s for single environments (no dev-to-test-to-production scenarios). Otherwise, it’s the real product. Use it. Really.

For standalone installation, software requirements are:

Windows Server 2016 or newer with active WEB Server (IIS) role and Windows Authentication. It is recommended to enable the Dynamic Content Compression function on the server.
.NET Framework 4.7.2.
ASP.NET Core Runtime 8.0 Windows Hosting Bundle.
MS SQL Server 2016 or newer (with installed full-text search component).
Configured Active Directory environment.
Microsoft Edge WebView2 (on computers on which the WEBCON BSP Designer Studio application will be installed).
Java 11 or higher (recommended distribution is OpenJDK)
