“The Cat Came Back”, was written by Harry S. Miller, in 1893. It is now entered into a folk tradition, and has been recorded many times by many artists. There are also many different lyrics with different endings.

This one was recorded by Laurie Berkner in 2007. The video shows a real orange & white cat playing with toys, and a bunch of little kids singing and acting out some of the lyrics. Laurie Berkner is playing the guitar and singing. Very cute.
