Silly Search

It seems every day I go googling, or wiki-ing, or AI-ing, searching for answers to all kinds of things. Sometimes I do want a real answer, and other times it’s just for fun. Here’s what I mean …

I look up for true facts about a subject … yes I do.

I look up about something I’ve seen or heard or read to find out more – yes I do.

I have trouble wording my search question so it will give me a relevant answer – yes I do.

I look up how to pronounce words quite a lot. One from the other day that I’ve wondered about is the word ‘archive’. Is it ar – chive (like the onion chive) or is it ar – kive (with a hard sound K), well it turns out it is the one with the K sound … not the onion chive. I’ve always called it chive, but now I know.  haha

I like making up stuff to look up to kind of play a game with the answer deal … stump the google or whatever. =  yes I do.

I sometimes look up my home address … but in different cities and countries. Very interesting what shows up… sometimes fancy houses, sometimes a vacant lot.

I make up poems with some of the extras on the list of what to search next – yes I do.

Sometimes I do get a blank stare, or a no answer, so Yay I’ve stumped the answer deal! haha

So today I think I’ll make a note on here on what silly thing I’ve looked up.

Today so far I’ve looked up … stuff about the tv show McGyver. I never watched that show, but I knew about it. This morning we were watching it, and I noticed there was a younger guy playing the lead character, McGyver. So I was confused. I thought the person was much older in that show. And I found out I was right. It was a new updated version of the show. Not real current, but more recent than the ones from the 70s.

That’s so far today… and the day is early 8 a.m. here ( ugh time change today). No telling what else I’ll want to look up.
