One Word Sunday – Litter

For Debbie’s challenge:

Litter

So, I was reading that the word litter originally started out as meaning a bed. It’s still used that way in some situations, as when a person is carried from one place to another on a bed.

Also, most like dogs and cats lie down to give birth and that is their nest or bed, so the babies are referred to as their litter.

A cute stuffed animal mama cat and three little kittens who are nursing at her side. All are orange and white except  one black and white one.
