Odd Poem October (new)
***
This one came to me from out of the blue
While I was getting my breakfast set up too
Heat lightning flickers in the dark summer night
But it brings us no rainy delight
Da Dat Da Dat Da Daaa
I can’t think of anything else though
I think I should

Oh … Now I know why I thought of this poem. The weather news was on the tv and it was saying how much we are in a dry drought situation, where today we have no burning warnings because if a spark catches onto all the dry grass and things here it will result in a bad wildfire, or even in the city it could cause a fire. That happens also, when we do ever get lightning around here if it strikes the ground.
But here’s a real lightning bolt I took a photo of one time – and a song 🙂

This photo of a lightning bolt is the one and only time I’ve been lucky enough to get one.
It was coming up a storm right at twilight. The sky was dark blue and gray with clouds above, and orange below, as the sun had just set. I snapped the shutter as fast as I could over and over, hoping I’d get one just right before I got struck by the lightning.
