Weekly Prompts Colour Challenge – Red White & Blue

***

This is a giant blue dog. It’s just the front end of his smiling face, black eyes on white, big black nose, red tongue, and white bone under his chin. The whole thing is a kind of van or bus, that travels around the city, providing veterinarian care to pets. A mobile vet service I guess you’d call it. The white bone has the phone number of the place, and says ‘we come to you’.

We went to an antique store one day, where I saw this big ceramic chicken cookie jar. It’s a white chicken (yellow beak/red comb), and has draped over her head and back is a blue and white shawl. Pretty cute!

Weekly Prompts Weekend Challenge – Partners

Salt and pepper shakers always go together as partners. I have quite a few I’ve collected, all in the novelty kind, which are usually cute.

Here are a couple of cats (just the faces), one yellow and one blue. They used to belong to my daughter, but she gave them to me.

These partners are funny … a dog relieving himself on a fire hydrant. A friend sent me these.

Seems Santa likes to arrive in a fire truck! These were from several different towns and even another country we lived in. If you look close, or click photo to enlarge, you can see a helicopter behind the fire truck (photo on bottom left). This was taken at Camp Zama, Japan. The last photo was from a parade.

The ones in the middle are from here, while the fire men were testing the fire hydrants. 🙂
