A nice crop of harvested pumpkins, all ready for jack-o-lanterns or for making pies!

It’s cotton harvest time here. These cotton bolls show up in the floral departments to use in arrangements this time of year. I like how they look, and adds a local touch, too.

Many years ago my in-laws lived on a farm and tilled the earth, grew vegetables, and harvested them.

A local prairie dog digging in the earth/dirt. They have whole communities in underground tunnels.
