’m thinking this is ornamental kale or cabbage.

It is kind of unusual – just the frilly & lacy pinkish purple  leaves with a touch of green, and some dark pink flowers in a glass jar of water.

Imperial Purple … there are so many shades of purple, so I got to looking and this one is more in the red purple color.

Photos show:

  • large star shaped pinata = points are purple (my little pony characters depicted)

Today’s prompt for the Fun Foto Challenge is to find purple things. Here’s some you may have seen before on the color challenge I took part in awhile back.

We have Paolo, in his purple costume I made him, a My Little Pony Pinata, some turnips, some purple/or red? cabbages (looks purple to me), and a painting I did. (I looked at a picture of this that was in a magazine a long time ago.)

Today I needed to find plum colored things. I was at the library, where I found this book, by one of my favorite authors. I’ve read all of the ‘Stephanie Plum” series. I also was at the grocery store, where I looked in the produce section, and found turnips, and cabbages. 🙂 None of these are an actual plums, because there weren’t any there to take a photo of.
