Today for SLS we are to find songs that came close, but only made it to the rank of # 2 on Billboard Hot 100 songs list. This song was really popular though, and did become # 1 on other rankings in the UK and in Canada. I like it a lot.

I put the lyrics in a separate video because when I tried to copy the lyrics regular it was just a huge block of text, hard to read.

Now the video is weird. I don’t get what it has to do with the lyrics, but it’s fun to watch. Supposed to be he’s trying to figure out what is going on in his life. But the video is a bunch of people at like a church faith healing meeting, and the leader is yelling and people are dancing around, stomping and clapping, and whirling, like they’re having a fit of some kind, and the guy touches them and they fall down then get up all healed – I guess? Then the ceiling falls in and the floor collapses. It’s a big mess. Oh, and there is a live alligator walking around the rooms. ???

Now, anybody else have any ideas of this? haha 🙂
