Wasp!
This wasp has been hanging around our garage for the past few days. Here it is on the window. We open the door and he flies out.

Could be, as this is the time of year they start hatching and building nests. For some reason this one or another one kept flying up under our truck by the tire well. If he was making a nest up under there, he’s in for a surprise when we drive. 🙂

Scary! I was bitten by a wasp at age 14 & it was terribly painful. Then my whole arm swelled up for several days.

Oh no – that sounds really awful and painful! I can only remember one time I got stung when I was a kid. It hurt, but that was just for a little bit. Nothing else happened.

We usually have them build nests under the roof edges. We knocked a big one down one time and I took a photo of it. Amazing how little insects can make something so intricate. 🙂
