Summary

add a shared JSON-output helper that routes console/plugin startup logs to stderr only while JSON-mode registration is running
apply that helper to the main lazy plugin registration path and the nodes sub-CLI plugin registration path
cover the nodes --json path and the pass-through -- --json case

Real behavior proof

Behavior or issue addressed:
openclaw nodes list --json could let plugin startup logs reach stdout before the JSON payload because the nodes sub-CLI registered plugin commands outside the existing JSON-mode stderr guard.

Real environment tested:
Local OpenClaw source checkout on macOS using the bundled Node runtime.

Exact steps or command run after this patch:

Evidence after fix:
The unit target that includes run-main.exit.test.ts and nodes-cli.plugin-registration.test.ts passed: 2 test files, 80 tests.

I also ran the e2e config explicitly:

That passed: 2 test files, 14 tests.

Observed result after fix:
JSON-mode registration sets forceConsoleToStderr only during registration and restores it afterward. A pass-through --json after -- does not trigger stderr routing.

What was not tested:
I did not run a live Helm/container install with the reporter's exact LCM plugin startup logs.

Added the requested real behavior proof with an actual post-fix CLI run.

Setup:

Created a temporary local plugin with activation.onStartup=true.
The plugin intentionally calls console.log(...) during plugin registration and during nodes CLI registration:
- PROOF_PLUGIN_STARTUP_LOG stdout-attempt during plugin registration
- PROOF_PLUGIN_NODES_REGISTER_LOG stdout-attempt during nodes registration
Started a temporary local gateway on an alternate loopback port, then ran the real CLI with stdout/stderr captured separately.
