Finale – Squares 2025 -Closing Time – Flies

For Becky’s challenge:

Thank you for Squaring

***

Today is the final one for Becky’s challenge of geometric squares. It’s been fun finding photos, and also seeing other participants photos all month. I want to thank Becky for hosting this fun challenge for the past years.

I want to also thank each of you that came to visit, look at my posts, liked, and commented. I sure appreciate you!

This is looking way up at a skylight I think it was at the mall. Lots of framed blue sky squares.

A wall of red bricks going horizontal and vertical, and lines of mortar in between them all.

One of my watches has a square face.

This song seemed appropriate for the final posting It is time to close up the squares until next time.

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Feb. 3, 2024

***

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “watch.” Use it as a noun or a verb, use it any way you’d like. Have fun!

Back in 2018 I did a month of challenge posts all about ‘time’. I really like watches and clocks, and well … time, as in my blog … time machines! I posted every day of that month of December 2018 with a clock or a watch, and a song about time, too.

Here’s just a couple of those watches I have (of many many that I have).

***

This little watch is a toy. It’s now a treasure I’ve had since I was a little kid. The elastic band is broken, and the face is discolored, but I’m so glad I still have it. It was my very first watch.

***

This Cinderella watch is one I’ve had since I was a kid. It’s not the original band, though, as it wore out. It is a wind up watch, but doesn’t wind any more, but you can still move the watch hands.

Happy New Year!

This is the last of the Time December Squares. It’s been a really fun month finding all photos and songs.

My final watch is another bracelet/bangle one with turquoise colored stones.

Hope you’ve enjoyed seeing them all. Next up will be in March. Not sure what the square topic will be, but I’m sure Becky will have something fabulous for us to find and put into squares. Thanks so much for the fun challenge!

This song seemed appropriate for the final posting of Time – Square in December. It is time to close up the squares, and also this year. A new beginning starts tomorrow with the New Year. I wish you all much happiness and peace.

My Peace & Love bracelet/watch, given to me by my daughter. The back of the watch is a peace sign. All it needs is a new battery.

I don’t know where this watch came from. Maybe it was my daughter’s? It has no band, and I don’t remember wearing it, but it is pretty and colorful.
