Today’s Earworm

🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵

It seems every day I hear a song or think of a song that ends up haunting me all day, in the form of an earworm. I might like the song, or sometimes I even hate the song, but there’s no getting rid of it until it decides to go away. I tend to look it up, play it, listen to it several times a day. Then next morning, here comes the new earworm. It never ends.

I heard this one on the radio the other day, and I’d never heard it before. I found out it was an old, old one from the 1980s – ’83 or ’84 – differing dates by what I read. I like this because it is spooky sounding and it could really be true! It has shades of the novel, “1984”, by George Orwell.

So, now here it is for you to hear, at your own risk of it becoming an earworm . 🙂
