Here’s the one I wrote before, in 2018.
Can I think of something using the word ‘can’? I’m sure I can.
Does anyone remember that old TV game show called, “Name That Tune”. I used to watch it all the time. I don’t know all the things that factored into the game, such as how the game was played, or how people won money, but the part I liked was seeing them try to name a tune in very few notes. The two contestants would bid against each other and say, “I can name that tune in three notes.” Then the other person would say, “I can name that tune in two notes.” Then the first one would challenge by saying, “Name that tune.”
Those songs the house band played were pretty old, though, but I knew a few of them. What I like to do now, is challenge myself with naming a song really fast. I mostly listen to the oldies station on the radio, so most songs are those I’ve heard a bunch of times, so it’s kind of easy. I hear the opening music, and sometimes, even before anyone starts singing, I can name the song, and who sang it. It’s fun to try.
Now, on to another subject for the word ‘can’.
My mom & grandma used to preserve vegetables, by canning them. They weren’t into freezing any, but canning would happen every summer. I remember how good it all was, and it came in handy later on to open a jar of home canned food.
I never did any of it myself, because it seemed like a lot of trouble, what with the pots of boiling water, pressure cooker, timing things just right, sterilizing the canning jars, sealing them. It was a lot of work. I did like going out to a field to pick black-eyed peas, corn, and beans, though. Then we’d all gather round to snap, and shuck. All the while, talking and drinking either iced-tea or hot coffee, and talking about all kinds of things. Good memories!
I can not think of a way to end this with the word can. 🙂

Is there anything else I ‘can’ add to what I wrote before?
I can think of some other words with ‘can’ in there, like can’t, or candy, or how about this one. Pecan!
I know how I say it – Puh -con. But some people say it – Pee-can. To me that just sounds nasty – like you’re gonna pee in a can. Sorry!

Candy is always good!
How about the phrase ‘you have a can-do attitude’, meaning you know how to go about getting things done and want to do it.
Anyway, there’s lots of these kind of words, but I’m not going to list them all here. You can if you want to. 🙂
