There are so  many songs relating to weather conditions that I like, but this one just popped into my head this  morning, so here it is now.

This song tells a story of a guy who wants to get his big break into the entertainment business, so goes to California, as he has heard it is always sunshine and a good place to be ‘discovered’.  But, he comes to find out the truth, that it is not that easy. He winds up broke, homeless and really wants to go home. But he doesn’t want people back home to know how  bad it was for him. For him maybe it doesn’t just rain a little, the bad luck really pours down on him.
