I cannot display the post simply because it’s a secret or Google has deleted the post. You will never know for sure.

Numbered, Part 2

Click this whole sentence to view the previous part for you to have a clue of what’s happening. Technically, even if you did, nothing would sum up ’cause I’m not good at stories. 😛

P.S. This is all freestyle.

It’s been two days.

The Pi’s wait anxiously, their backs leaning on the hard raggedy surface of the cave’s outlines. Beams of light stretched across the caves almost revealing One’s spot.

“I told you, there’s nothing here you nincompoop, ” an Even’s voice exclaimed, the voice resonating through the volumes of the cave.

“I..I… swear Y-y-y-our Ma-ma-jes-t-ty. I saw the Pi’s come through here, ” another Even responded, obviously with lower authority than the first one.

“The scent of Three is powerful here Your Majesty. Eighteen speaks the truth, ” a female Even said, defending Eighteen.

Partially hidden by a fat stalagmite but fully concealed thanks to the pitch darkness brought about by the cave, Three gripped his dagger, both a blush and frown stitching his face.

Then everyone died in an instant for no reason at all ( I have nothing more to add.)

Of All Numbers, Why Three?

In the realms of numbers, a lone digit attracts hoards of notice from writers. Proof of that are “The Three Muskeeters,” “Three Blind Mice” , etc.

Another confirmation of the fact is in novels. The protagonist generally teams up with duos therefore summing up into trios. A book of that example is Harry Potter Series. (Wingardium Leviosa)

So, writers, what is in three? Answer me! Google does not show anything ( or maybe I just don’t know what to search.)

Numbered, Part 1

Chapter One: Betrayed

Three had been bound for death the moment he made his decision. He was deeply aware of the fact, but even for an old soul like him, death is not as appealing as it may sound.

Three’s ears registered shuffling movements but did not flinch. Four other numerals sat around him forming an irregular circle each in their own respective log seats. Before them, a fire crackled silently, illuminating the numerals in an orange tint. A vexatious mood filled the atmosphere casting an eerie presence among them. All of them had the same fate as Three.

Way before they signed the pact with Death, they spiked fear in every Even across the world of Algebra. They were a group called Pi Society with the majority of the members as Odds. All members of Pi, had nicknames. The Leader. The Twins. The Commoner. The Trustworthy.

The world of Algebra was divided by two races at war. The Evens and Odds. The battle had been raging on for centuries and neither sides claimed victory.

Ironically, an Even named Four known as The Trustworthy betrayed the Pi to her countrymen. That might have been the Pi’s biggest mistake, taking an Even as a member.

“I told you never to trust that foul Even! The Evens now know the location of the Symbols!,” Five, The Commoner exclaimed, breaking the silence in their midst.

“What’s done is done, Five. You, for one agreed to her joining,” Three, The Leader explained.

“It might have never happened if your feelings didn’t meddle,” Five argued. Three’s cheeks went brick-red but faded quickly into a frown.

” I will not tolerate you, Five. Enough is enough.” Three shot back, trying to end the debate.

” Guys sorry, what are the Symbols again? I’m having the memory lapses. I didn’t take my… Wait, who am I? Who are you?,” One, one of the Twins interrupted. A loud thud reached their ears. One collapsed to the ground. Behind him, the other One popped up, holding a slightly bloodied rock and smirking before saying, “That will work as his medication for now.”

Loud footsteps and voices neared their camp site, shooting adrenaline through their bodies. ” We’re found, ” Three stood up.

“Well isn’t that obvious? Even lover!” Five mocked before following suit.

“Who’s going to drag him? Me?” One inquired, pointing at his twin brother. The answer was obvious. “Fine,” he muttered.

The Evens reached their camp site too late. The Pi’s had already fled for safety. Leading the large pack of Evens was Four, the Traitor. She dropped down and muttered to herself, “I will find you, my Love.”
